Winlog Web ServerWinlog Web Server allows creation of SCADA applications that can be directly accessed from any Internet Client using a standard web browser, thus providing a dramatic cost reduction in monitoring and control of remote plants and production processes. Winlog Web Server takes advantage of the characteristics of Java language to provide a TCP link between remote Clients and a Winlog Server. Thanks to the Java Web Start technology, the user can access to plant information by simply linking to the Winlog Web Server installed on the main supervisory station; specifying the IP address in the address bar of the web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox,..) it will be possible to display the home page for download of the Java application and Client configuration to allow remote supervision. Client stations only require installation of Java SE Runtime Environment.
The Java Client can display data in both a numeric or graphic
format (led, status bar, templates, etc.) with an automatic refresh;
online graphical trend are available during the observation period;
more Clients can access the Server at the same time without any
problem. The Winlog Web Server solution guarantees the total safety
of data and the absolute independence of the Winlog Pro application
from the Winlog Web Server application that operates in a protect
environment (sandbox). Special development tools allow conversion of
standard SCADA applications in Java Web Server applications;
development tools manage only a subset of all available graphical
objects (output control is not allowed) that includes: Frame,
Group Box, Label, Button, BkBitmap,
Bitmap, Led, Gauge, StatusBar,
Chart. CSV and PDF reports created by Winlog Pro can be
deployed in a special folder in the HTTP server public area that
can be downloaded by remote browsers. |
