Wine Production Plant Design with SCADA Automation and Process Control

Wine Production Plant Design with SCADA Automation and Process Control

Sielco Sistemi, in partnership with Save Impianti, offers complete expertise in the design, automation and development of industrial plants for wine production, providing advanced technological solutions capable of guaranteeing the highest standards of quality, traceability and production efficiency. Thanks to decades of experience in industrial automation and process control, the two companies act as a reliable partner for wineries seeking to modernize production facilities and comply with increasingly demanding quality regulations.

SCADA supervisory control of an automatic installation for carburizing, tempering and hardening heat treatments

SCADA supervisory control of an automatic installation for carburizing, tempering and hardening heat treatments

Sielco Sistemi developed a comprehensive SCADA supervisory control system for an automatic installation dedicated to heat treating processes, specifically carburizing, tempering and hardening. Based on the Winlog Pro SCADA HMI platform and integrated with an MQTT/Modbus IoT Gateway, the system manages a continuous treatment line in which batches of metallic components undergo precisely controlled thermal cycles. The SCADA application communicates with a PLC network based on Siemens SIMATIC S7 through an Applicom server, ensuring reliable and real-time data exchange across all treatment stations.

SCADA for gas barrier film extrusion coating lines: supervision, recipes and quality reporting

SCADA for gas barrier film extrusion coating lines: supervision, recipes and quality reporting

Producing high-performance gas barrier films demands a multi-stage line that combines cast film technology with extrusion coating technology, a pairing that raises line output while delivering optimum product quality: no "curl" effect, excellent film transparency, precise gauge control and a high rate of edge trim reintegration back into the line. Coordinating this kind of plant — extruders, chill rolls, coating stations, winders and trim systems working in sequence — is only practical with a supervisory layer that gives operators one coherent view of the whole process. Winlog Evo is a reference example of a SCADA/HMI platform built to take on exactly this role, from control room templates down to end-of-batch quality certificates.

SCADA for brick and ceramics kilns: supervision and control of continuous and intermittent firing

SCADA for brick and ceramics kilns: supervision and control of continuous and intermittent firing

Sielco Sistemi has developed a family of applications for the supervision and control of brick and ceramics kilns, built to bring firing lines that once relied on separate gauges, chart recorders and manual logbooks under a single, coherent view. These systems let plant staff control key process variables — temperature, pressure, dilution and more — and analyse them on time-related trend charts, while repeatability and production quality are ensured through structured production recipe management and automatic batch reports. Winlog Evo is the SCADA/HMI platform behind this family of kiln applications, deployable on a single firing line or scaled across an entire ceramics or brick manufacturing plant, from a small artisan works to a multi-kiln industrial site running around the clock.
