This Privacy Policy explains how SielcoSistemi (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information related to the Winlog Remote - SCADA client application (the “Service”).

Introduction

Server requirement

Winlog Remote requires a Winlog EVO server, which is hosted and managed by the user. The app communicates directly with this server, and no data from the user’s server is collected or stored by us. A public demo server exists only as an example.

Privacy approach

We respect your privacy. The app is designed so that data remains on your device or your own server, except for minimal data required to deliver notifications. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy and consent to these practices.

App Permissions

The app may request access to certain device features. You can manage or revoke these permissions via system settings at any time:

Camera – Used solely for scanning QR codes to configure or connect to user-hosted servers. Images are processed locally and are not stored or transmitted externally.
Notifications – Device identifiers (such as push notification tokens) may be processed via Firebase and AWS to deliver alerts.
External links – The app may automatically open certain links encoded in QR codes generated by Winlog EVO servers. The app does not collect personal data from these actions.

Data Sharing

The app does not collect or transmit personal data to our servers, except for what is required for notifications.
Data exchanged between the app and user-created Winlog EVO servers is not collected, monitored, or stored by us.
The app does not use analytics, tracking, or telemetry systems.
We do not sell user personal information.

User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding the minimal data used for notifications (e.g., device tokens handled by third-party services):
